Bauers and Mitchell go back-to-back as Brewers beat Dodgers 6–2 for 3–0 NLCS lead
The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 6–2 in Game 3 of the 2026 NLCS on October 14 at Dodger Stadium. Trailing 2–1 in the seventh, Jake Bauers hit a two-run homer on the 11th pitch of his at-bat and Garrett Mitchell followed with a solo shot, both off Blake Snell. Milwaukee took a 3–0 series lead and moved one win from its first World Series since 1982.

How it happened
Jackson Chourio hit the first pitch of the game from Blake Snell for a leadoff home run, and Milwaukee led 1–0.
Robert Gasser protected that lead with five scoreless innings. Snell was just as sharp, striking out nine and keeping the Brewers quiet through six.
The Dodgers broke through in the sixth. Abner Uribe walked three and loaded the bases, and Will Smith lined a two-run double that just missed being a grand slam. Los Angeles led 2–1.
In the top of the seventh, Bauers fought Snell through an 11-pitch at-bat and hit a 412-foot, two-run homer to put Milwaukee back in front. Mitchell followed with a 428-foot solo homer for a 4–2 lead. The Brewers added single runs in the eighth and ninth.
DL Hall followed the Smith double with 2⅓ innings of one-hit relief, and Trevor Megill got the final outs. Rookie Cooper Pratt went 3-for-4. Milwaukee left Los Angeles needing one more win to reach the World Series.
